I can bear all things for Christ's sake and
Truth, Christ, has come so near this age that error is rampant to save itself
from destruction! O that I may prove myself willing in the day of God's
power to bear the cross and serve Him best whom I love most. Mary Baker Eddy
(Gottschalk, Stephen, Rolling Away the Stone, p.41)

The dragon that was wroth with the woman, and stood ready "to devour the child as soon as it was born," was the vision of envy, sensuality, and malice, ready to devour the idea of Truth. But the beast bowed before the Lamb: it was supposed to have fought the manhood of God, that Jesus represented; but it fell before the womanhood of God, that presented the highest ideal of Love. Let us remember that God — good — is omnipotent; therefore evil is impotent. There is but one side to good, — it has no evil side; there is but one side to reality, and that is the good side. (Eddy, Mary Baker, Christian Healing, p.10:1-12)

Malicious hypnotism cannot operate in my thought when I am asleep and manifest itself the next day as sin, disease and death. Mary Baker Eddy (Oakes, Richard, Divinity Course and General Collectanea, p.82)

Nobody but yourself can destroy a belief of yours. As long as you believe in evil, at all, you will have specific claims to meet. Mary Baker Eddy (Oakes, Richard, Mary Baker Eddy's Six Days of Revelation, p.272)

In the science of being we learn all discord,
such as sickness, sin or death, is distinct from Spirit, and not produced by
God; also, that God is the Soul, or Principle of man, the Truth, unerring and
eternal; again, that matter claiming mind, or making itself the basis of mind, is
error, and this error, the so-called intelligent body named man, with
intelligent nerves, brain, stomach, and so forth. The only reality of being is
the Truth of it, and that Life and Intelligence are in matter, is not Truth but
its opposite, error; therefore, illusion. Eddy, Mary Baker, Science and Health, 1st, Ed., p.12)

Mary Baker Eddy stopped and spoke to a little child who looked very ill. She said to her, "Don't you know, dear, that you haven't any lungs to cough with or be consumed? You are God's child," and she talked the truth with her and told her that she was God's idea, and to know that she was well, and the child stopped coughing and was instantly healed. (Keyston, David, The Healer, p.89)

The claims of evil become both less and more in Christian Science, than in human philosophies or creeds: more, because the evil that is hidden by dogma and human reason is uncovered by Science; and less, because evil, being thus uncovered, is found out, and exposure is nine points of destruction. Then appears the grand verity of Christian Science: namely, that evil has no claims and was never a claimant; for behold evil (or devil) is, as Jesus said, "a murderer from the beginning, and the truth abode not in him." Mary Baker Eddy (Eddy, Mary Baker, No and Yes, p.24:15-24)

Whatever error you admit as real in yourself or in another, you render yourself liable to. Admitting error as real produces error and is all there is to it. Mary Baker Eddy (Oakes, Richard, Mary Baker Eddy's Six Days of Revelation, p.271)

Spirit never requires matter to aid it, or
through which to act; no partnership or fellowship exists between them; matter
cannot co-operate with Spirit, the mortal and unreal with the real and eternal,
the mutable and imperfect with the immutable and perfect, the inharmonious and
self-destroying with the harmonious and undying. (Eddy, Mary Baker, Science and Health, 1st, Ed., p.11)

In the practice of Christian Science one cannot impart a mental influence that hazards another's happiness, nor interfere with the rights of the individual. To disregard the welfare of others is contrary to the law of God; therefore it deteriorates one's ability to do good, to benefit himself and mankind. (Eddy, Mary Baker, Retrospection and Introspection, p.72:1-6)
